The incident happened Oct. 6 at the Marathon gas station on Beaver Ruin Road.

Gwinnett Police say the suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the Oct. 6 shooting of a 14-year-old girl inside a vehicle that stopped for gas at a Beaver Ruin Road gas station.
Finesse Hoff, 17, believed to be the shooter in the incident, was booked into the Gwinnett County jail on Tuesday, Nov. 3, on charges of reckless conduct and possession of a pistol by a minor.

As previously reported on Patch, officers responded to a person-shot call at around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Marathon gas station located at 2070 Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross.
The preliminary investigation determined a car with four people inside, including the 14-year-old, stopped at the gas station to fuel when the girl was somehow shot inside the vehicle. Two of the occupants were male, one other was female, police said.
“Several people (including the occupants of the vehicle) removed the victim from the car to render first aid,” police said in a news release earlier this month. “The suspected shooter got inside the driver’s seat of the vehicle and drove away leaving behind the victim and other occupants.”
The vehicle was found unoccupied later at the Bradford Gwinnett Apartment Complex, and was impounded by police for evidence processing.
