Andy Statman Trio to Perform at 'Jazz at the JCC'

The Marcus Jewish Community Center in Dunwoody will host the famous jazz and bluegrass group next month.

In a special program at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta, The Andy Statman Trio will perform on Sunday, Oct. 19 for the Jazz at the JCC program through MJCCA Arts & Culture.

The trio, comprised of Andy Statman, Jim Whitney, and Larry Eagle, combines the musical styles of klezmer, bluegrass, and jazz. Frontman Statman is a master of the mandolin and clarinet, celebrating the music of his dual heritage as an observant Jew and an American.

The event will begin at 7 p.m. at 5342 Tilly Mill Road in Dunwoody, and tickets will be $25 for members and $32 for all other attendees. Discounts may be available for students, seniors, and groups. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office at (678) 812-4002.
