Car Break-In a Reminder to Take Precautions
North Briarcliff Civic Association says there was a car break-in on Cosmos Drive Aug. 8.

North Briarcliff Civic Association is warning residents not to leave things in their vehicles after a car break-in on Aug. 8.
The group posted on its Facebook page:
NW ALERT: Car break in on Cosmos Drive - Aug. 8
A neighbor reported that a car was broken into on Cosmos the evening of Aug 8 and an iPod and other items taken. The car was parked on the street. There was no damage to the car. Police were called.
The association then goes on to advise people not to leave items in their cars because they're a magnet for thieves. Read the association's full Facebook post here.
