DeKalb County Emergency Management Agency officials will host a workshop on how to prepare for severe weather at the ONE DeKalb Neighborhood Resource Center in Northlake Mall, 4800 Briarcliff Road, on the lower level of the mall near the Macy’s entrance on Thursday, June 13 at noon.
During the free workshops, officials will discuss tornado safety measures; DeKalb’s early warning system, CodeRED; and the critical lifesaving steps to take the first 72 hours after a weather emergency. The workshops are less than an hour and will include a question and answer session.
