Former DeKalb County Official Faces Bribery Charges

A former member of the DeKalb County Zoning Board of Appeals was allegedly involved in an illegal transaction of over $5,000.

A former member of the DeKalb County Zoning Board of Appeals has been charged with bribery in federal court for an illegal transaction of more than $5,000.

Jerry Clark was a member of the board until last year, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Clark reportedly received $3,500 in exchange for influence on a DeKalb government transaction, but it is still unclear who reportedly bribed him, the news outlet reports.
