DeKalb Firefighter Injured At Recycling Plant Fire
The blaze broke out at Rock-Tenn's facility near Lavista Road and I-285.
A DeKalb County firefighter was injured while battling a blaze at a recycling facility Friday afternoon.
According to CBS46 Atlanta, the fire broke out at the Rock-Tenn Recycling Center in the 3400 block of Montreal Industrial Way, near Tucker. The firefighter injured his ankle in the incident.
WSB-TV reported large flames and smoke coming from the building, but local traffic around Lavista Road and I-285 didn’t seem to be affected.
