Lavista Hills Cityhood Will be Decided Tomorrow

The future of DeKalb County will be decided tomorrow, as Lavista Hills voters head to the polls to decide whether the community becomes a city.

If approved, Lavista Hills will be DeKalb’s largest city, with about 66,000 residents.

Tucker voters will also be deciding on the cityhood issue, and voters throughout the county will be voting on a referendum designed to strengthen the county’s ethics board and regulations.
