Naked Man Struck, Killed On I-85 In Atlanta Identified

A naked pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle early Friday on I-85 northbound in Atlanta has been identified.

ATLANTA, GA -- Authorities in DeKalb County have identified a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on last week on Interstate 85, Patch has learned. The victim, who was naked, is 29-year-old Nicholas Carusillo from North Carolina, officials said.

Police received calls that morning saying that a man was walking between vehicles on the interstate. Carusillo was struck by two vehicles during the incident, police said. He later succumbed to his injuries.

Police are still trying to why Carusillo was on the roadway and had no clothes on.

Motorists on the scene were interviewed by police and no charges are expected to be filed, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
