North Druid Hills Piccadilly Robbed at Gunpoint
The thieves fled after emptying the restaurant safe Saturday night.

Two men robbed Piccadilly restaurant on North Druid Hills Road at gunpoint Saturday night, DeKalb County police said.
The suspects walked into the building at 2226 North Druid Hills Road and approached a waitress sitting in a booth near the side employee door at 9:24 p.m., the police report said. One of the suspects threw her to the ground, grabbed her purse and looked through it.
The second suspect approached the manager sitting near the cash register, pointed a black, semi-automatic pistol at him and demanded he lead him to the restaurant safe in the back office. The manager opened the safe, and the suspect pushed the pistol to the back of his head and ordered him to the floor. The manager told police he remained on the floor until the suspects left the building.
A third employee who fled the restaurant during the incident told police he saw the suspects run out of the building and get into a waiting and running black SUV in the parking lot with a third suspect inside.
The safe was emptied, but nothing was taken from the waitress.
The first suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet tall with a slim build, wearing all black, including a skull cap, with blue latex gloves and dark sunglasses. The second suspect was described as a black male about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a medium build, also wearing all black, including a bandanna over his face. He carried the pistol.
