Orlando Shooting: Atlanta Man Captures Video of Gun Battle

A Decatur man captured a video of a gun battle between police and Omar Matteen outside the Pulse nightclub in Orlando, where 50 people were killed and many more injured Sunday morning.
Nick Hornstein was visiting friends in Orlando, and was at an apartment off Orange Avenue, across from the street from the nightclub.

The shooting is the deadliest such incident in U.S. history.
Hornstein told Channel 2 Action News that the gunshots woke him up. That's when he captured a short video of the scene. He watched SWAT teams enter the nightclub and took photos of the incident as it developed.

He also said police would not allow anyone to leave the apartment until about six hours after the shooting happened.
