Update: Pedestrian Killed when Hit by Car in Brookhaven
The man was trying to cross North Druid Hills road in a stretch of the road where there is no lighting.

Early Thursday morning a male pedestrian was hit by a car while crossing North Druid Hills road near I-85 in Brookhaven, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) report.
The pedestrian has died from the accident, according to the Georgia State Patrol in anAJC update.
The man, whose name has not yet been released, was hit by a 2013 Toyota Camry at approximately 4:45 a.m.

According to AJC, police said that the man was thrown over the car and landed in the roadway. The pedestrian was not in the crosswalk and there is no lighting on that part of the road.
