Robber Scores Just $1 in Northlake Gas Station Holdup
The incident occurred at the BP station on Lavista Road early Sunday morning.
An armed robber scored just $1 when he held up a Northlake gas station early Sunday morning, DeKalb County police said.
The suspect entered the BP station at 4121 Lavista Road, approached the register and pulled out a handgun at about 12:20 a.m., the police report said.
"Give me the money," he said.
The cashier handed over the money – only $1, according to the police report – and left the store, possibly on foot.
The crime was captured on a security camera.
