Shallowford Presby. Church Marks 60th Anniversary

Shallowford Presbyterian will hold a celebration on Sunday, August 5 to honor and recognize 60 memorable years of worship, fellowship, and faith at Shallowford Presbyterian Church!

Rev. Tom Are, Jr., son of Shallowford’s former senior pastor, Rev. Tom Are will preach. A nationally recognized leader in the Presbyterian Church USA, Tom Are, Jr. grew up at Shallowford.

Sunday, August 5, 2018 - 8:45 am and 11:00 am – Worship: Rev. Tom Are, Jr. will preach A reception will follow the 11 am worship. The public is invited.

9:30 am – “Celebrating Shallowford” - an informal, interactive program on Shallowford’s past, present, and future led by church members featuring photos, memories and memorabilia.
