Shallowford Presbyterian Names Associate Director of Music

Shallowford Presbyterian Church (SPC) recently named Mary Ann Rutkowski as the Associate Director of Music. She works under the direction of Emily Floyd, Director of Music Ministries, at this growing church of more than 1,000 members located in central DeKalb County.

Mary Ann will assist with the church’s flourishing music ministry and will direct the children's and youth handbell choirs, as well as the new Daytime Choir for Adults. In addition, she will plan and execute special music for the church’s worship services. She will also perform some administrative tasks to help support the music ministry.

“Mary Ann is and accomplished musician and teacher who enjoys working with both adults and children,” said Emily Floyd, Director of Music Ministries at Shallowford. “She brings fresh energy, enthusiasm and talent as she joins our team this fall.”

Previously, Mary Ann served as Associate Director of Music.at Third Presbyterian Church in Rochester, NY.
