Work Day Planned for John's Homestead

Tucker Civic Association’s February Give-an-Hour will be held on Feb. 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at John's Homestead Park. 

Volunteers will continue the great work they started at the November Give-an-Hour, focusing primarily on the grounds around the homestead. We plan to pull privet and invasives from the woods surrounding the house, work on the out-buildings, and if it is warm enough, paint the exterior of the house. See attached photo from last November's cleanup.

For more information, contact scarpacijoseph@yahoo.com. Please park at Rehoboth Baptist Church and walk the 1/2 block up Lawrenceville Hwy to the homestead. Please bring work gloves, rakes, hedge trimmers, etc.
