Youth Choir at Shallowford Presby. Open to New Singers

Shallowford Presbyterian Church’s Youth Choir welcomes new singers for the coming year. All choir members and new singers in grades 6 through 12 are invited to a Kick-Off Party at the church on Sunday, August 5, from 4-6 pm.

Meet Emily Floyd, Director of Music Ministries, who directs the choir. Dress for messy games! Bring chips or dessert to share. Pizza will be provided.

Youth Choir meets at the church every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 – 6:00 pm

Youth Choir is made up of 80+ students in grades 6-12 from schools all around Atlanta who have a ball learning to sing, making new friends, working hard, goofing off and most importantly, touring a concert each summer. Summer tours have led the choir around the country (such as Key West, Boston, North Carolina, Chicago, San Antonio) and every four years they tour Scotland! All skill levels are welcome. Students are committed to participating in weekly rehearsals (Sundays, 4:30-6 pm) as well as presentations during occasional Sunday morning worship, holiday services, and fundraising events. Shallowford's Youth Choir is directed by Shallowford’s Director of Music, Emily Floyd.
