Northeast Cobb resident Shawn Franklin participated Saturday, May 12, in the 114th commencement exercises of Huntington University in Indiana, where he has earned a bachelor of science in film production.
Franklin's actual graduation date will be in July, according to a school news release distributed by ReadMedia.
Huntington is a Christian liberal arts college.

Franklin also displayed his film work at a digital media arts exhibit for graduating seniors in April and participated in a showcase of senior film projects this month.
