Cobb Industrial Growth on Agenda
The Cobb County Planning Commission is holding a hearing on creating priority industrial areas.

A public hearing on a proposal to designate priority industrial areas in Cobb County is on the agenda this morning for the county Planning Commission.
The commission heard a quick overview of the concept during its meeting April 3 but postponed the hearing until today so signs could be placed at the four proposed priority areas to inform the public.
None of the initial sites is in Northeast Cobb. The closest locations are at McCollum Field in Kennesaw and south of Marietta at the intersection of Powder Springs Road and the East-West Connector.
