Dog Stolen From Woman's Cobb Home: ICYMI
Vivian Simms tells local media that a thief broke into her Mableton home and stole her shih tzu "Sassy."
SOUTH COBB, GA -- A South Cobb woman is imploring the public to help her find her dog, who was stolen during a break-in at her Mable home, Patch has learned.
Vivian Simms said that on April 19 she returned to her house on Susan Drive and realized that her TV had vanished, along with a toolbox, her jewelry and a vacuum cleaner. The intruder left behind a broken window.
As she continued to survey her belongings, she saw one of her dogs, Khan, but her shih tzu, "Sassy," was nowhere to be found.

“I ran around screaming for her ... and her bed was gone,” she said, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Simms told local media that she isn't so much concerned about prosecuting someone, she wants her shih tzu back. Other belongings were also taken, the newspaper reports. Simms has gone to police, put up fliers and gotten friends to share the incident on social media, but her beloved Sassy has yet to be found.

Simms has one message for the thief: “You took my heart when you took her,” she was quoted as saying. She continues to leave food outside her home in case her dog comes home.
"They took my little dog. And I don't care about anything else that was taken. All that matters to me is Sassy. I just want to get her back," Simms told WSB-TV.
