Creating Communities Awards Dinner

The celebratory dinner for the 2012 Creating Communities awards will be 6 p.m. at Piedmont Baptist Church located at 570 Piedmont Road in Marietta.

Nominations were submitted to the appropriate commissioner ending Jan. 12.

The purpose of the awards is to recognize an individual, team or organization that has done something unique in making a positive contribution to the inclusion of any of the diverse communities in Cobb County. Those groups could be identified as race/ethnicity, age/generational, religious, gender, disabled or handicapped gender.
