Kell High School and seven other high school girls basketball teams, including local rival Wheeler High School, participate in the first Longhorn Shootout, a three-day varsity tournament. Kell tips off on opening day against River Ridge at 6 p.m. in the main gym. Other games will take place at 3 and 6 p.m. in Kell's main and auxiliary gyms over the three days.
