Expect Delays on Jamerson, Wigley
While the road construction is winding down between Canton and Trickum roads, the stretch from Trickum to Jims will be busy this week.
Here's what to expect if you're driving on Jamerson and Wigley roads between May 21 and 25, Northeast Cobb JoAnn Birrell of District 3 advises in her weekly email newsletter.
The contractor will be working from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday on the road construction project, Birrell says.
Canton Road to Trickum Road
Intermittent lane closures for final striping and the installation of road signs. One lane will remain open at all times.

Trickum Road to Jims Road
Periodic lane closures while the contractor grades and paves the roadway and utility companies move facilities. One lane will remain open at all times, but you should expect delays.
Jims Road to Sandy Plains Road
Periodic lane closures while the contractor continues to work on grading, placing concrete and paving the asphalt. One lane will remain open at all times.
