Five Things You Need To Know Today

What's happening in Northeast Cobb today.

1.  Hanukkah, the "Festival of Lights," is an eight day Jewish holiday that starts on the 25th day of Kislev (Hebrew calendar). The festival is observed in Jewish homes by the kindling of lights on each of the festival's eight nights, one on the first night, two on the second night and so on.

2.  The rain will stop, according to the weatherman.  Plan on a day that is 47 degrees and sunny.

3.  The Cobb Marietta Retired Educators Association is holding a book club today at The Mountain View Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.  Time: 11:00am.  It's a free club for Seniors.
