Kell Longhorns overcome 10-27 deficit & light outage to play "Lights Out" and win 37 - 33
Kell Longhorns comes from behind 10 - 27 in the 3rd to beat Creekside and move on to Round 2 of GHSA playoffs.
Kell Longhorns took on Creekside HS on Friday 11/13/15 in Round 1 of the 2015 GHSA Playoffs. Struggling early and getting behind 10 - 27 with 6 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Kell mounted a comeback to win the game.
To add to the drama, several stadium light banks lost power adding a 20 minute delay to the game. When lights were restored, the Longhorns came back strong behind #7 Bryson Armstrong to win 37 - 33. Here’s the link to the video recap of the comeback:
