Kell Rallies to Remain Undefeated
Sprayberry lost, but The Walker School won in other games Friday night.

After being in a tight contest for most of the night, the Kell Longhorns made their breakout in the second half Friday.Â
The Longhorns, who led only 7-6 at halftime against Osborne, exploded for a 35-15 win on the road to go to 7-0 on the season and 2-0 in Subregion B of Region 7-AAAAA.Â
Jay Moxey scored three of those touchdowns for Kell, which is ranked as high as No. 3 in statewide Class AAAAA polls.Â
Kell is off next week.
In the same subregion, Sprayberry continued its struggles, losing 42-10 at Riverwood.Â
The Yellow Jackets, who are 1-5 and 0-1, committed four turnovers and trailed 35-10 at halftime, according to the MDJ.Â
They play Pope next Thursday.Â
The Walker School rebounded from a 47-0 loss last week to defeat Fellowship Christian 25-20 in a Region 6B-A game. The Wolverines, who are 4-2 overall and 2-1 in region games, face Kings Ridge Christian next week.Â
Lassiter, Pope, Walton and Wheeler all were idle on Friday.
