Kennesaw Woman Who Went Missing Is Found Safe: Officials

Lourdes Gutierrez, 51, went missing early Sunday about 1:30 am at her residence on Due West Circle, Kennesaw police said. She is safe.

KENNESAW, GA -- A Cobb County woman who was reported missing over the weekend has been found safe, Kennesaw authorities said Monday. A Mattie’s Call was issued for Lourdes Gutierrez, 51, who was last seen early Sunday about 1:30 a.m. at her residence on Due West Circle, Kennesaw police said.

On Monday, Bartow County authorities located Gutierrez at the Sleep Inn Suites in Cartersville, Kennesaw police said. Law enforcement was particularly concerned because Gutierrez has a mental condition that requires daily medication, authorities said. Without her medication, she could become disoriented.
Gutierrez is now safe and has been reunited with family, Kennesaw police said.
