Man Posted Ad Targeting Girls 'Who Want To Get Pregnant': Marietta Police

Police say Terry Crawford thought he was communicating with a teen girl after he posted a "Daddy/Daughter" ad on Craigslist.

MARIETTA, GA -- A man who posted an ad online looking for “young, young girls who wanted to get pregnant” was arrested recently, Cobb County authorities said.

Authorities said Terry Crawford posted the ad on April 21, asking the girls to contact him. But instead of a young girl, Terry's ad caught the attention of Marietta officers. Over several days, Crawford and the officer engaged in a protracted conversation, which included what the man professed he wanted to do with and to the teen. He also made plans to meet his new online suitor and sent "her" pictures of his genitals, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

Crawford, who lives in Pine Mountain near Columbus, left his home on April 28 for a meetup -- but officers intercepted him, the newspaper reports. He was arrested and bonded out of the Cobb County Detention Center for $115,ooo.

Crawford was charged with four counts of felony computer pornography, according to information with the Cobb County Sheriff's Office.
