Woman Wanted In Recent Bank Heists In Marietta, Sandy Springs
The FBI's Atlanta Office, along with Marietta and Sandy Springs police are looking for a woman bank robber.
MARIETTA, GA -- Multiple metro Atlanta law enforcement agencies, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public's help in finding a woman bank robber. Atlanta- David J. LeValley, The Special Agent in Charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office and the Marietta and Sandy Springs police departments are searching for the woman seen on security camera in two recent area bank robberies.
The first incident occurred on June 16 at Wells Fargo Bank in the 600 block of Roswell Street in Marietta, authorities said. She got away with an undisclosed amount of money, the FBI said in a news release.

Then on Monday, at 4:26 p.m., the woman entered the PNC Bank in the 5600 block of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs and gave the teller a demand note and announced a robbery as she did the previous week. Again, the woman left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

Law enforcement officials are releasing photographs taken from security video in the hopes that someone may recognize the woman.

The perpetrator is described as a black female, 25 to 35 years of age, with a slender to medium build.
