Think of America as a big Grandfather Clock watched by the entire country. Sometimes the big pendulum swings a little to far to the right and the people make a correction . When the swing is a little too far to the
left, another correction must be made. During the last election the people on the left believed that the time was just right and planned on things continuing that same way they had been. They had not paid too much
attention to the folks on the right who were not only tired of being politically correct and somewhat liberal, but tired of having very little spending money. They were also afraid the the country had become very different than the one which they had grown up in. So come election time a big upset occurred, which elected a man who probably would never been elected under different circumstances. The people on the right were very happy, and the people on the left went to work on setting the clock back to the (in their opinion) correct time..
