NE Health District Reports Drops In Averages COVID Cases, Deaths

Despite District trend, Oconee and Clarke report increases in rolling averages of added cases.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Sunday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 48 new COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases fell to 57.1 from 57.6 on Saturday.
  • The District did not add any confirmed COVID-19 deaths, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths fell to 1.9 from 2.0 on Saturday.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases increased both in Oconee and Clarke counties.
  • Area hospitals reported one fewer COVID-19 patient, one more ICU bed in use, and the same number of adult ventilators in use as the day before.
