North Oconee Meets Woodward in High School Football Playoffs

A look at Friday’s Class 3A playoff game between North Oconee and Woodward Academy:

• When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Friday at Woodward Academy, College Park.
• Records: North Oconee finished 7-3 during the regular season, and third in Region 8-AAA. Woodward Academy also is 8-2, but finished second in 6-AAA.
• Next Round: Winner plays the Buford/Sonoraville winner on Nov. 22.
• Notables: North Oconee running back Kawon Bryant had 2,485 yards and 41 touchdowns in 10 regular-season games. … Woodward Academy has won two state championships and more than 400 games in its history. … This is the first meeting between the two schools.
