Rolling Average Added COVID Cases Up In District For Second Day

The Rolling average in Oconee County dropped, but it increased in Clarke County.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Tuesday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 77 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.
  • The District did not add any new confirmed deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths remained unchanged.
  • Oconee County reported two new cases, and its seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped slightly.
  • Clarke County reported 19 new cases, and its seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.
  • The Northeast Health District, with 14.8 percent of its population fully vaccinated, is lagging the state, with 16.5 percent of the population vaccinated.
  • Oconee County has 22.4 percent of its population vaccination, while Clarke County has 16.2 percent.
