Rolling Average Added COVID Cases Drops Slightly In NE District

Oconee County did not add any cases for the second day in a row.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Monday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 39 COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases fell slightly.
  • No new confirmed COVID-19 deaths were reported for the District, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths declined.
  • Oconee County added no new COVID-19 cases for the second day in a row, and the seven-day rolling average remained unchanged.
  • Clarke County added eight cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.
  • Area hospitals reported an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients for the fourth day in a row.
  • The percentage of the population of the Northeast Health District that is fully vaccinated increased slightly to 16.6.
