Rolling Average Added COVID Cases Increases In NE Health District
Area hospitals report increases in the number of COVID-19 patients, ICU beds in use, and adult ventilators in use.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 75 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases increased.
- The District did not add any new confirmed deaths attributed to COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths decreased.
- Both Oconee and Clarke counties saw increases in the seven-day rolling average of added cases.
- Area hospitals reported an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients, in the number of ICU beds in use, and in the number of adult ventilators in use.
- The percentage of residents of the Northeast Health District which is fully vaccinated increased, but at a rate lower than for the state as a whole.
