Rolling Averages Added COVID Cases, Deaths Drop In NE District

The seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped in both Clarke and Oconee counties.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Thursday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

The Northeast Health District added 61 new cases of COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.
The District added one new confirmed death attributed to the disease, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths dropped.
The seven-day rolling average of added cases dropped in Oconee and Clarke counties.
Area hospitals reported three fewer COVID-19 patients than the day before.
Across the state, 16.4 percent of the population 18 years old and older has now been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
