Rolling Averages Added COVID Cases, Deaths Increase In District

The rolling averages of added COVID-19 cases increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The Northeast Health District added 67 COVID-19 cases, pushing up the seven-day rolling average of added cases for the sixth day in a row.
  • The District added three deaths from the disease, and the seven-day rolling average also increased.
  • The seven-day rolling averages of added cases increased in both Oconee and Clarke counties.
  • Area hospitals reported an increase in the number of COVID-19 patients.
  • The percent of the population in the Northeast Health District that is fully vaccinated has reached 18.7. It is 24.9 in Oconee County and 18.1 in Clarke County.
