Rolling Averages COVID-19 Cases, Deaths Drop Again In District

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.

  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases of COVID-19 decreased in the Northeast Health District with the addition of 53 new cases.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added deaths from the disease also decreased.
  • The Daily Status Report added two deaths, one of them in Clarke County.
  • The seven-day rolling average of added cases decreased slightly in Oconee County but increased slightly in Clarke County.
  • Oconee County, the City of Watkinsville and Athens Masonic District 6 – Prince Hall are holding a mass COVID-19 vaccination from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 17 at the Civic Center.
  • Registration is required.
