Rolling Averages COVID Cases, Deaths Down; Vaccinations Up
The Northeast Health District added 35 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday but no deaths from the disease.

Below is a summary of COVID-19 data on Saturday for Oconee and Clarke counties and for the entire 10-county Northeast Health District.
- The Northeast Health District added 35 COVID-19 cases, and the seven-day rolling average of added cases declined.
- The District did not add any confirmed deaths from COVID-19, and the seven-day rolling average of added deaths also declined.
- Oconee County did add a “probable” deaths from the coronavirus.
- The seven-day rolling averages of added cases in both Oconee County and Clarke County declined.
- Area hospitals reported five fewer COVID-19 patients than on Friday.
- The Department of Public Health reported data indicating that 14.2 percent of the population of the Northeast Health District is now vaccinated, up from 13.8 percent on Friday.
- The rate of full vaccination in Oconee County is now 21.6 percent, and the rate in Clarke County is 15.5 percent.
