UGA Building Evacuated After Threat on Social Media
Report: Miller Learning Center was threatened with violence on the Yik Yak mobile app.

UGA Police evacuated the Zell Miller Learning Center Friday due to a “threat of violence” made over social media. No actual violence happened and the university announced an all-clear around 1 p.m.
The AJC, citing a Twitter feed from the Red & Black, reported the threat was posted on the mobile app, Yik Yak, warning people not to be in the building at 12:15 p.m. “if you want to live.”
A press conference with UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson was scheduled for 2 p.m.
