A company specializing in transdermal research and development has opened its headquarters in Peachtree Corners.
The company, 4P Therapeutics, is initially bringing 12 new jobs to the area, according to the Gwinnett Business Journal. However, there are plans to expand by the end of this year.
Previous work of 4P Therapeutics includes drug development partnerships with several well-known pharmaceutical companies, such as Eli Lilly & Co., Novartis, and Hospira, according to the company website.
“On behalf of Peachtree Corners, I want to welcome 4P Therapeutics to our city," said Mayor Mike Mason in the Gwinnett Business Journal.
He added: "4P Therapeutics joins a host of life science companies and further positions the community for sustained economic growth driven by research, development, and the commercialization of new products and technologies."
