Deep Freeze: Timeline to 'Feels Like' 10 Degrees
Temperatures in the region will drop fast overnight, according to the National Weather Service.

Make sure the heavy winter coat is ready for Tuesday morning.
The temperature is expected to get above freezing briefly Monday afternoon. But the wind chill, or ‘feels like’ temperature, will peak at 28 degrees Monday and plummet overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
Here’s a timeline of the feels like temperature for the Atlanta region through Tuesday morning:

2 p.m.: 28 degrees
5 p.m.: 27 degrees

8 p.m.: 22 degrees
11 p.m.: 18 degrees
2 a.m.: 15 degrees
5 a.m.: 11 degrees
6 a.m.: 10 degrees
7 a.m.: 11 degrees
8 a.m.: 12 degrees
9 a.m.: 15 degrees
The temperature will again get above freezing, but the wind chill will keep the feels like temperature cool.
Expect temps in the 40s Wednesday and even higher on Thursday before another cool blast of winter for the weekend.
