Ex-Falcon Jamal Anderson Reportedly Arrested for DUI Again

He was stopped for failing to maintain his lane early Sunday morning in Hall County.

Former Atlanta Falcons running back Jamal Anderson, a fan favorite and key member of the franchise’s lone Super Bowl team (1998), has been arrested again for DUI, according to news reports.

Anderson, who played for the Falcons from 1994 to 2001, was arrested and charged after a traffic stop Sunday morning around 2 a.m., the Hall County Sheriff’s Office said.

He was stopped on Friendship Road at Deaton Creek Parkway for failing to maintain his lane, the Gainesville Times reported.

He bonded out of jail around 10 a.m. Sunday.

It was the second DUI arrest in less than a year for Anderson, who was charged in Gwinnett County last November after he was found passed out in his Cadillac Escalade in a HOT lane near the I-85/Ga. 316 merger.

Anderson was reportedly scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday for the November charges, the AJC reported.

The former All-Pro had run-ins with the law previous to the November incident -- a drunk-driving charge in 2012, to which he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of reckless driving; and drug charges in 2009 that were dismissed, according to the AJC.
