Georgia Weather Forecast: Feels Like Fall This Weekend

This September has felt like summer in metro Atlanta, but this weekend could bring the first sign of the weather to come.

ATLANTA, GA — In metro Atlanta, the first days of autumn have felt an awful lot like summertime. But it's almost October and, as we prepare to turn the page on the calendar, this weekend's weather could be a sign of things to come.

After a high temperature of 87 on Friday, the highs are forecast to dip down into the upper 70s on Saturday and, then, the mid-70s on Sunday. The low temperatures those two nights aren't expected to crack the 60-degree mark, either.

As for rain, it looks like we're in the clear this weekend. The next chance of showers and storms in metro Atlanta doesn't show up until Monday night. So, if you've been hankering to get out to a high-school football game, fall festival or other seasonal event, this weekend might just be the time.
