Georgia Weather Forecast: How Warm Will This Weekend Get?

After a week that saw record high temperatures in metro Atlanta, see what the thermometer is going to say this weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — After record-high temperatures this week, the weekend forecast for metro Atlanta calls for more warm days. It may not feel like the height of summer, but there won't be a seasonal autumn nip in the air, either.

Highs will get into the 80s both days this weekend, before temperatures are expected to dip next week. It should be mostly sunny, too, although there's a slight chance of rain Friday night and again Sunday night.

In all, it should be a lovely weekend to get out and enjoy the fall festivals, football games and other events of the season ... in your short sleeves. (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app)
