ATLANTA, GA — Weather forecasters are finally calling for a rain-free work week for metro Atlanta. What's that going to mean for our mid-May temperatures?
It means they're going to get awfully warm.
Without a drop of rain in the forecast until next weekend, temperatures in Georgia are set to spiral this week. Every single work day has a predicted high in the upper 80s and ... who knows? It won't take much for a day this week to sneak up into the lower 90s.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 87. Calm wind becoming northwest around 5 m.p.h. in the morning. Clear Monday night with a low around 65.
