Gwinnett County's Citizens Police Academy Accepting Applications
Topics covered during the academy include crime prevention and crime scene investigations, among others.
There's still time to apply for the next Citizens Police Academy, which runs from September 3 to October 24. Classes will take place on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Gwinnett County said in a news release.
Participants will have a behind-the-scenes look at the police department. Topics covered during the academy include crime prevention, crime scene investigations, E-911, SWAT, and more.
