Lionheart's announces summer shows, camps and classes for children and adults
Fun and affordable summer activities in Norcross. Theatre, acting, art film-making, Gardening, Musical Theater, Improv!
Lionheart Theatre Company in Historic Norcross is planning a busy summer of camps, classes and shows for tots through adults.
In June, Lionheart will have three weeks of drama camps. In addition to the traditional drama camps with skits, songs and games, Lionheart will offer Musical Theatre, Improv, Kids Art, Audition preparation, talent shows and digital video production for children, teens and adults.
Reflective of Norcross’ diverse population, Lionheart will hold it’s first-ever Spanish-language camp for ages 4-12. The camps are designed to engage the large number of families in Norcross that speak primarily Spanish in their home.

“While most of the children are bi-lingual, many of the parents and grandparents struggle with English and would really enjoy seeing their children perform in their first language,” said Sean Casey, Lionheart’s drama camp director.
Also new to the schedule is “A Touch of Gray” Musical Theatre class for the over 50 crowd. The class will learn to sing and dance to a classic musical theatre number p. The class runs June 6-10, 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and culminates with the talent show performance on Friday, June 10, at 7 p.m. in the Lionheart Theatre. The class is only $25 or “pay what you can.” The Touch of Gray Talent Show is on June 10 at 7 p.m. and is open to any acts from performers age 50 and up.
