Last week, Cub Scouts of Packs 575 and 525 were treated to a tour of the State Bank branch located at Holcomb Bridge and Peachtree Parkway, in Peachtree Corners. The Scouts are chartered by Simpsonwood United Methodist Church, in Peachtree Corners.
In addition to the tour, State Bank made a significant contribution to the Friends of Scouting campaign. The Friends of Scouting campaign helps to provide quality services, and facilities to our youth, and it provides less fortunate youth the opportunity to participate in Scouting through Camperships, Scoutreach, and help with registration and uniforms.
Just in Button Gwinnett there are 2 Cub Scout packs and 2 Boy Scout troops that are supported through Scoutreach. 4 Units worth of local boys would never be able to experience Scouting, if it weren’t for the Friends of Scouting Campaign, and local business partners, such as State Bank.
