Three Wesleyan Students Named National Merit Semifinalists
The students from the K-12 college preparatory school will now compete for National Merit Finalist recognition.
Three Wesleyan School seniors have been honored as National Merit Semifinalists.
Ethan Moon of Dunwoody, Kelsey Rappe of Peachtree Corners, and Sutton West of Peachtree Corners, all earned the National Merit Semifinalist distinction. Only 1% of seniors (approximately 16,000 total) nationwide receive this recognition based on their PSAT scores. These students will now submit essays in the hopes of becoming finalists and earning scholarship money.
In addition, eight Wesleyan students were also named as National Merit “Commended” students. Roughly 3% of seniors nationwide receive this recognition. Our Commended students are Daniel Baisier of Dunwoody, Grant Beaty of Peachtree Corners, Henry Beltrami of Atlanta, Suzanne Godard of Peachtree Corners, Erin McConnell of Suwanee, Carson Pavelec of Johns Creek, David Thrower of Alpharetta, and Emma Watkins of Duluth.
