Wesleyan Grad Named National AP Scholar
William Lee is the Peachtree Corners school's third student to win the award.

Wesleyan School is thrilled to share William Lee, class of 2015, is now recognized as a National AP Scholar.
The Dunwoody teen earned the elite recognition by scoring a 4 or 5 on all eight AP exams he took during his high school career – with an impressive overall AP exam average of 4.88.

The AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through AP courses and exams with the AP Scholar Awards. During the past five years, Wesleyan School, located in Gwinnett County, has had 3 National AP Scholars with William becoming the third.
William was the salutatorian of the class of 2015. He is now studying at the University of Pennsylvania.

Although there is no monetary award, each award-winning student receives a certificate, and the award is acknowledged on any AP score report that is sent to colleges after the award has been conferred.
In May of 2015, 213 Wesleyan High School students took a record 329 AP exams:
· 62 of these students received an AP Scholar award.
· 35 students received the AP Scholar award for earning a score of 3 or better on 3 or more AP exams throughout their high school career.
· 11 students received the AP Scholar with Honor award for earning a score of 3 or better on 4 or more exams and having an overall AP exam average of at least 3.25.
· 16 students earned the AP Scholar with Distinction award for earning a score of 3 or higher on 5 or more exams and having an overall AP exam average of at least 3.5.
Wesleyan is fully accredited by the South Association of Colleges and Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools.
